Since the beginning as a Maternity Hospital, Hospital del Carmen has been a top vanguard institution, with a great human sense.

In 1949 opened as Sanatorio del Carmen, starting for different types of Interventions that little by little in 1968 opened as a General Hospital with new installations and tradition on the Jalisco society.

In September the 8 of 1999 Hospital del Carmen was purchased by the most important organization in the private hospital sector of our country, which gave to Guadalajara a new impulse in to the Modern Medicine, and a strong investment of the health services of Angeles Group from the most advanced equipment in Operating Rooms, Cardiovascular Physiology, Imagenology, Transfusional Medicine, Check Up Clinic, Urology Clinic, Intensive and Intermedia Care Units.

The opening of the new areas as: Ambulatory Surgery, Ophthalmology Clinic, Dental Care, Pediatrics, Dream Clinic & Epilepsy Clinic as well a fully equipped Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, completing the full maternal and child circle. Also we offer Magnetic Resonance, Mamogram, Densitometry, new procedures on the Plaque Separation, and therapeutic services of plasmatic interchange and leucoreduction. A new challenge in 2002 as the first liver transplant, the 28th of November in the same year a Heart transplant done with the high technology and with a great human team, starting the surgery at 7:30 hrs and having as a result the first heart beat at 11:00 hrs We inaugurated the Hemodialisis Clinic on February the 3 of 2003.

Since 1946 as a Maternity Hospital, then transforming in to a General Hospital in August 1968 and in 1999 as part off a great Hospital group, until today, step by step Hospital Angeles del Carmen has become a top Hospital known in the Jalisco and in the surrounding states, recognized for his highly prepared medical and supporting staff, with a commitment on reaching the excellence to give the best medical care to our society and to our customers.
